is the original vintage denim jacket, introduced around 1905 under the lot number 506XX. It features a short, boxy fit, a single chest pocket on the left, front knife pleats, and a back cinch buckle for adjusting the waist

Selvedge Denim Trucker

  • Single Chest Pocket:
    Placed on the left side (early versions lacked a flap; flaps were added later).
  • Cinch Back: A metal buckle strap on the lower back used to tighten the fit.
  • Front Pleats: Vertical knife pleats running down the front placket, meant to give extra room.
  • Boxy, Cropped Cut: Designed to sit short at the waist, favoring physical labor and movement for workers and ranchers.
  • Selvedge Denim: Woven on narrow shuttle looms (heavyweight rigid denim).
  • Red Tab: Added starting in 1936 featuring a prominent Big "E”
